Lash Lift & Tint

What is a lash lift and tint?

A lash lift and tint is a cosmetic procedure that enhances the appearance of your eyelashes. It is designed to make your natural lashes appear longer, more lifted, and darker, creating a similar effect to what mascara and eyelash curlers provide but without the daily maintenance.

Lash Lift: A lash lift, sometimes referred to as a lash perm, is a treatment that involves curling and lifting your natural lashes. During the procedure, your esthetician or lash technician will use a special adhesive to affix your eyelashes to a curved silicone rod or shield. This creates a lifted and upward-curling effect. The process typically takes about 45 minutes to an hour. The results of a lash lift can last around 6 to 8 weeks, which is roughly the natural lifespan of an eyelash. Unlike traditional eyelash extensions, a lash lift doesn't add any extra length or thickness. It works with your natural lashes, enhancing their appearance.

Lash Tint: The lash tinting component of the procedure involves applying a semipermanent dye to your eyelashes. This tint can darken the color of your lashes, making them appear more prominent and defined. The tinting process is typically done after the lash lift, and it takes just a few minutes to complete.

A lash lift and tint offers several benefits:

  • It reduces the need for mascara and eyelash curlers.

  • It gives your eyes a more open and awake appearance.

  • The results are low-maintenance, requiring minimal aftercare.

  • It's a great option for people with straight or downward-pointing lashes.

It's essential to have a lash lift and tint performed by a trained and licensed esthetician or lash technician. They will ensure that the procedure is carried out safely and effectively. While the results are semi-permanent, they will gradually fade as your natural lashes grow and shed. You can opt to have a touch-up treatment to maintain the look. Be sure to consult with your technician about any potential allergies or sensitivities to the products used in the procedure.
